Ctenopoma acutirostre
C. acutirostre is an “oddball” fish native to many parts of Africa. This fish has a unique brown spotted pattern and a shape that more resembles a leaf than a fish.
These fish enjoy a planted tank. Be mindful when choosing tank-mates. We have noticed these fish bully smaller fish and have been seen nipping fins. In the wild C. acutirostre would hunt small fish and invertebrates, therefore it is not recommended to keep them with anything small.
